Charli XCX

Charli XCX is an English singer and songwriter. She started her singing career on Myspace in 2008, which led to her discovery by a promoter who invited her to perform at raves and parties. By 2010, she signed a contract with Asylum records. This article from DAZED promotes her new album Charli which varies from electro-pop to experimental. 

For this editorial spread, I decided to show the contrast of her sweet pop songs to her loud distorted songs. Charli XCX is presented as calming while the background shows the aggressive and uncomfortable beats.
